PortaBote accessories

PortaBote comes with many boat accessories, which make this unique vessel extremely versatile. Here is a list of accessories for the PortaBote, we can provide:

  1. Porta-Sunshade
    The folding Porta-Sunshade protects you from the scorching sun when sailing for a few hours on a hot sunny day. The sunshade covers the centre and rear seats of the boat and can be easily fold down if not needed.
  2. Oars and Oar locks
    When installed on the centre of the hull oars and oarlocks allow manual and silent navigation for fishing or hunting, turning the PortaBote into a complete rowing boat.
  3. Bow Trolling Mount
    A platform assembled on the bow, allows you mount a small electric outboard for trolling and turns the PortaBote into a fishing boat.
    The trolling mount is designed for silent movement which will not scare off fish or hunting pray.
  4. Sail Kit
    Assembling lateen sail kit turns PortaBote into a very stable sailboat with great maneuverability. Available to 10', 12' and 14' models.
  5. PortaDolly
    When you're far from the water's edge, you can open your boat by your car or rig. Put in all your gear and outboard motor. Then put your PortaBote on the Dolly. You can place the Dolly so the front of the boat weighs less than one pound (2.2 kg). Then just roll your boat to the launch area just like a baby carriage. You can even take the Dolly off when your floating in the water and store it out of the way up front. So, you don't have to go all the way back to your car. When you come back to shore, just put your PortaBote back on the Dolly and wheel it back.
  6. Car Top Straps
    Handy straps to securely attach your PortaBote to your car's roof or store it when not in use. The PortaBote car straps are designed especially for secure and risk free transportation
  7. The RV Mount
    A smart hanger that keeps the PortaBote secured to your vehicle's side.
